1. The discussion begins with the idea that art is an innate human desire and has been a part of our existence from the beginning. Emphasis is put on the idea that art can be created by any individual through the use of different techniques and mediums. 2. As new technology emerges, it becomes inevitable that those technologies will be applied to the art world. It is not a question of if, but rather when and how, this will occur. It sounded intense and harsh to me, but when I visited the NGV exhibition to take photos for my blog post about “The Future of Art”, I felt at home near this artist's work.

BANKSY has always been a controversial artist, often coming under fire for his subversive and sometimes dark artwork. However, recently his artwork has taken a turn towards augmented reality, weaving in the digital world and making it part of the canvas. In his newest piece, "The Throwaway", a digital kitten is tossed into the air and injured by broken glass; it's quickly ripped apart by an aggressive dog that appears to be carrying a gun. The kitten's blood splatters everywhere in graphic detail, covering the walls and floor as well as spattering over the audience or viewers. This augmented reality work has garnered a lot of attention lately because it highlights some of the dangers that come with using bitcoin-banking apps and cryptocurrency in the real world: you might lose your money before you know you've lost it or you could be hacked without realizing it. Also, looking at this artwork shows how blurred lines are
